Below are some of the most frequently asked questions patients have about dentistry and oral health issues. If you have any other questions, or would like to schedule an appointment, we would love to hear from you.

Do you take my insurance?

Our office will help you to receive maximum ‘out-of-network’ insurance benefits for any treatment. We accept all dental insurance, but are considered out-of-network. Our team is happy to submit claims for our patients. Go Smiles is a fee for service office, which means our patients pay for their services on the day the services are provided. We do not know in advance what services (if any) YOUR insurance company will cover and we can only estimate your cost based on what other patients’ insurance companies have done in the past. All insurance companies vary on what they will or will not cover. We make sure our patients understand the cost of every procedure before we start.

What type of payment do you accept?

We accept cash, check and most major credit cards. We offer cash discounts and even “pay today courtesy” discounts on complex treatment. Ask a team member for details!

Do you offer in-house financing?

Yes, we will work with you to come up with a payment plan that works best for you.

I have a gap between my front teeth. What are my options for correcting this?

Gaps between teeth (especially gaps that show in your smile) can take away from the beauty of your smile. Depending on the size of the gap, there are several options. For extremely large gaps, orthodontics (Invisalign) is usually recommended. For small to moderate gaps, bonding or porcelain veneers may be the best solution for you. Our doctors will discuss your options with you and together we will customize an ideal treatment plan to give you the gorgeous smile you deserve.

I have a lot of old fillings (silver) in my mouth that have been there for a while. One is sensitive and the others are just ugly. What are my options?

Old silver fillings leak, causing decay to re-enter the tooth (which may or may not cause sensitivity). Not to mention they are unsightly. Options for silver filling replacement include direct composites (tooth- colored fillings) or porcelain inlays and onlays, all of which provide an optimal aesthetic and healthy result.

What is Invisalign?

Invisalign® is essentially invisible braces. Invisalign® straightens your teeth using a series of thin, clear trays (aligners). Each tray is worn for around two weeks before changing to the next tray in the series. Treatment usually takes between six months and one year. Since the trays are virtually invisible, most people won’t notice you’re straightening your teeth – unless you tell them. You can have the smile you’ve always wanted without the hassle of braces.

How much does an implant cost?

This is a difficult question to answer. Truth is, everyone’s circumstance is different, so the cost of dental implants vary depending on treatment needs.

OK, so what factors increase or decrease the cost?

While we don’t want to advise you on specific costs, we can help you better understand the factors that go into dental implants.

  • Multiple tooth replacements vs. single tooth replacement

  • Laboratory cost

  • The amount of reconstruction necessary to successfully complete the procedure

  • Tooth location

  • The need for us to collaborate with other dental specialists

The best way to get an accurate idea of what your dental implants will cost is to come in for a free consultation to discuss what your implant treatment would entail.
