Dr. Franklin received his DDS from the University of Texas Dental School at San Antonio in 1990. He completed his advanced training in Pediatric Dentistry in 1992 and received his diploma in Orthodontics from the University of Toronto in 1995. He was awarded the Special Merit Award by the AAO (American Association of Orthodontics) for his graduate Orthodontic research thesis.

Dr. Franklin began his full-time private practice in Orthodontics & Children’s Dentistry in 1996, opening offices in Austin and Dripping Springs. He has been active in study groups and has received several awards for excellence in Orthodontic Treatment by the Texas Tweed Ortho Study Group. In addition, he has authored a chapter in an Ortho text entitled Ortho for the Next Millennium.  Dr. Franklin takes great pride in providing the highest quality in orthodontics & pediatric dental care in a gentle and caring manner.

When not at work, he enjoys time with his wife (Sherry) and three children (Jenna, Jace, Josh). His favorite hobby is bass fishing and enjoys spending time at most Austin area lakes.
